The Technical Interchange Expo is a pair of events for SDL staff and USU faculty (restricted to US citizens), held at SDL. The events will foster understanding of each organization’s capabilities, expertise, and research needs while strengthening ongoing connections. Faculty benefits include the following:
- Expedited USU-SDL connections
- May lead to collaborative opportunities and research credit through the Kuali system
- Opportunity to meet other faculty, leading to potential collaborations

- 3:15 PM Event check-in (Bring Government-issued identification: driver’s license or passport)
- 3:30–3:45 PM Civil & Commercial Space (CVS) division presentation
- 3:45–4:00 PM Strategic & Military Space (SMS) division presentation
- 4:00–4:15 PM Command, Control, Communications, Computers, Intelligence, Surveillance, and Reconnaissance (C4ISR) Systems division presentation
- 4:15–5:30 PM SDL open house table displays and discussions
Restricted to US citizens.
RSVPUSU Expo
November 2025
- USU faculty member (or team) presents research at any stage: concept, design, development, prototype, or demonstration
- Presenters must bring their own posters, monitors, and equipment
- SDL will provide a 6 ft table and tablecloth; faculty may request up to one additional table, two easels, and a power source
- SDL attendees include leadership, program managers, and staff
