Our Role as a UARC
As a University Affiliated Research Center (UARC) sponsored by the
Missile Defense Agency, we maintain our role as a trusted Government
partner through our core competencies.
As a UARC, we:
- Serve as subject matter experts for our core areas of expertise
- Maintain essential engineering, research & development capabilities
- Inspire & train tomorrow’s workforce
- Serve in the public interest, free from conflicts of interest
- Provide unlimited Government rights to SDL-developed technology
